Abstract
Cherubism was first described by Jones in 1933 as "familial multilocular cystic of the jaws".
A 14-year female patient visited our department with chief complaint of both mandibular body enlargement. She was diagnosed as Cherbubism by clinical and histopathologic examinations. She had been observed for 1 year, but the lesion was increased
gradually. We performed the surgical curettage and packing-open dressing of both mandibular lesion. She had been followed-up without recurrence for 8 months.
We present a case report and discuss about the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
